@danielpunkass Yes, bittergarnituur is traditionally served to go with a 'bitter', an alcoholic beverage flavoured with herbs, but nowadays its used more generally for all kinds of snacks and all kinds of drinks. Hope you're enjoying you stay in Amsterdam! And be sure to visit its little sister Utrecht some time, it's much quieter over here in terms of tourists, and just a 20 minute train ride away!
