The documentary ends with a classic raga performance by Ravi Shankar. Perfectly captured on film and edited by D. A. Pennebaker, we see the audience slowly getting ecstatic by hearing these otherworldly sounds. A true 60s time capsule.

My best R&B/Soul album of the year 2019: Black Pumas
My favourite electronica album of the year 2019 has to be Utility by Barker. Contemporary, but also with nostalgic references to Monolake, Basic Channel, Plaid and other 90s predecessors.

🎵 I hadn’t heard of the tragic story following the death of Guru in 2010. Glad it all worked out eventually, mostly because of the perseverance of DJ Premier.
